Women in Nuclear - WiN Canada

Gwen Rousseau is currently employed as an Engineering Manager, Product Applications at Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. She is responsible for the integration of project specific configurations requirements and technical proposal contributions from a pre-project aspect.  To Gwen, all of her projects thus far have been rewarding.

Gwen earned a Bachelor of Engineering at McMaster University.  She is also a certified Human Behaviour Consultant. Gwen says her family, friends and colleagues both within and outside of the engineering world have influenced her career aspirations.

For Gwen, personal satisfaction stems from making a difference in society and for the next generation. Her advice to the youth is, “Be responsible. If it is to be, it is up to me. The proactive positive attitude will launch you and sustain you through all challenges in life.”

Gwen has enjoyed her WiN membership thus far. WiN, she says, represents an influential perspective women uniquely possess.

In her spare time, Gwen enjoys knitting, quilting and stained glass art, as well as speaking to organizations on the practical application of communication and team building skills.
