She loves the complexity of transactions, working with different stakeholders and the constant challenges her job brings. Her most rewarding project was being the lead on obtaining the export financing for a nuclear reactor in Romania. Due to the large monetary aspect of this transaction, the initiative involved a complex array of issues and multi-national players. Prior to OPG, she worked for Atomic Energy of Canada Limited and held a number of management positions including Financing Consultant and Business Development and Financing Manager.

Davinder’s advice to young people entering the industry would be to “always keep a goal in mind. Start with achievable goals and work your way up…when you do achieve a goal, don’t forget to celebrate and capture the rush of achievement. This rush is what helps to achieve the next higher goal.”

Davinder enjoys her involvement with WiN, which allows her to work with an amazing network of leaders, from a diverse background.
