The WiN-Canada Board met this week to discuss and endorse the recommendations of the selection committee for the new board. We had a great response to our nominations call and are very pleased with the enthusiasm and experience each of these board members brings to the WiN-Canada board table. The new board will be in place as of April 1, 2010.

Retiring from the Board are Rumina Velshi, Treasurer, Retired from OPG and Janet Donegan, Past Chair of WiN-Durham, OPG. Both Rumina and Janet have made a substantial contribution to the WiN-Canada board and their local chapter since 2004. We thank them for their outstanding commitment and hope they will continue their involvement in WiN for years to come.

A big thank you also goes out to Susan Brissette, whose vision and commitment as WiN-Canada President has helped take WiN from a handful of enthusiastic people to over 1,050 members with five very active chapters throughout Canada. Susan will remain involved with WiN as Past President.
