WiN-New Brunswick Chapter Launch

WiN-New Brunswick Chapter Launch

June 06, 2007

The Launch of our Chapter occurred on June 6, 2007, at the Point Lepreau Generating Station in conjunction with the Canadian Nuclear Society conference in Saint John, NB. Since then, the local chapter has had two official meetings.

Our first meeting in July 2007 was held to get to know each other, network, learn about WiN background and history and membership. The second meeting in October 2007 focused on two presentations; Clair Ripley, AECL Communications and Liaison Officer delivered a  Powerpoint presentation  on nuclear applications and its uses. Secondly, Michele Lunney, IT Business Relationship Manager, NB Power Nuclear spoke on Taking the Lead.
