Women in Nuclear - WiN Canada

Every year the The Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) solicits nominations from members of the member societies for various awards and fellowships.  The Canadian Nuclear Society is a member of the EIC. The details, including eligibility criteria and the nomination form, can be found on http://www.eic-ici.ca/honours_awards.html.  All nominations for 2011 must be submitted by 2010 November 15 to the EIC Honours, Awards and Fellowships (HAF) Committee by using the attached form (available on the EIC website). 

I wish to draw your attention to the EIC Fellows category in particular (http://www.eic-ici.ca/fellows.html).  Up to 20 fellows are elected annually from member societies.  Last year, Mr. Eric Williams (CNS past president) was elected as a fellow of the EIC. 

Please think about any WiN-Canada/CNS members who meet the criteria and submit nominations in support of any member(s) who, in your opinion, deserve to be considered for the EIC fellowships or other awards for 2011.  Please take a few minutes to complete the attached nomination form and submit it by the November 15, 2010 deadline.
