Day 4 - GIRLS Science Camp - GEMS 2010

Day four was all about superhero science.

We talked a lot about what science could be applied to each of the superheros, touching on gravity (Superman), arachnids (Spider-Man), magnetic fields (Magneto), light (The Incredibles and the Fantastic Four), sonar system (Daredevil), theory of relativity (The Flash), evolution (X-Men), radioactivity (The Hulk) and skeletons (Iron Man) and galaxies where all these superheros show off their superhuman abilities.

In the afternoon the girls had the opportunity to design our own superheros using science and engineering concepts to develop superpowers.
