Blogging guidelines for WiNfluence

WiNfluence will abide by the following two simple principles:

  1. WiNfluence embraces spirited discussion and diversity of thought.
  2. WiNfluence declines to publish unacceptable content.
Unacceptable content is defined as any comment or link that is:

  • Abusive, uses profanity or includes content of a sexual nature
  • Used to stalk, threaten, abuse or harass a person
  • Knowingly false or misrepresents another person, libellous or defamatory
  • Infringes upon any copyright, trademark, trade secret or patent of any third party. (it is your responsibility to provide proper attribution to any quote or excerpt from someone else's content)
  • Violates an obligation to confidentiality
  • Violates any privacy, publicity, moral right of any person
  • Includes paid advertising links, editorial content that has been commissioned and paid for by a third party or SPAM. SPAM is defined as anything unrelated to the discussion. Unrelated content may include simple links to unrelated content that are considered advertising or e-commerce, or more insidious forms.
WiNfluence contributors define and determine what is "unacceptable content" on a case-by-case basis and our definitions are not limited to this list. We reserve the right to change these standards at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to remove links to any content at any time.

Anonymous comments will not be posted. Please feel confident enough in your comments to own your words.

All comments will be read first by the contributors to ensure the post meets the above-noted content requirements. Do not be alarmed if your post does not show up automatically. The contributors are committed to post all comments as promptly as possible.
